Coco Jam Jamaica — Family Entertainment Centre
Industry: Entertainment & Hospitality · Location: Kingston, Jamaica · Website: cocojamjamaica.com
The Challenge
Coco Jam Jamaica is Kingston’s top family entertainment and party centre — over 35 arcade games, VR experiences, kiddie rides, birthday party hosting, school trip packages, and an on-site food counter. But their digital presence wasn’t keeping up with the business. Parents had no way to check pricing, browse attractions, or understand party packages before calling in. School administrators couldn’t compare trip options online. Seasonal events like holiday photoshoots had no online ticket sales — everything ran through phone calls and walk-ins. The business was leaving money on the table and putting unnecessary pressure on front-desk staff to answer the same questions repeatedly.
The Solution
We designed and built a complete digital platform that turns the Coco Jam website from a static brochure into an active revenue channel and customer self-service hub. Every page was engineered to answer a specific question a parent, school administrator, or event planner would have — eliminating friction between “I’m interested” and “I’m booking.”
Technical Stack
We selected WordPress with Elementor Pro and WooCommerce — a proven combination that gives the client full control over content updates, event promotion, and ticket sales without needing a developer on call. The site is optimised for mobile (where the majority of Kingston parents browse), loads fast with WebP image delivery, and runs on managed hosting for reliability.

What We Built
Online Ticket Sales
Before the site, seasonal events like Grinch and Santa photoshoots were booked entirely by phone. We set up a WooCommerce-powered ticket shop with JMD pricing, product images, and one-click checkout. The result: ticket revenue starts flowing the moment a promotion goes live on social media — no phone tag, no missed sales after hours. The client creates new event products themselves through the WordPress dashboard whenever a new season or promotion rolls around.
Self-Service Pricing & Package Comparison
The rates page lays out everything — general admission costs, token reload tiers, and three school trip packages (Admission Only, All Inclusive, Ultimate Fun) — with per-child pricing, minimum headcount requirements, what’s included, and available add-ons. School administrators can compare options, calculate costs, and make a decision before picking up the phone. This cut down repetitive pricing enquiries and gave the sales conversation a head start — by the time someone calls, they already know what they want.
Attractions Showcase
Every attraction — VR 360, VR Shark, bumper cars, carousel, arcade games — is presented with images, descriptions, pricing, and age restrictions. Parents browse the full offering from their phone while planning a weekend outing. This page does the selling before the family walks through the door, setting expectations and building excitement in advance.
Party Booking Information Hub
Birthday parties are a core revenue stream. We built a dedicated page covering the full party experience — 90-minute time slots, what’s included, the three-step booking process, deposit requirements, and cancellation policies. Click-to-call links are placed at decision points for mobile users. The goal: remove every question that stands between a parent thinking “birthday party” and actually making the booking call.
Food Menu Display
Rather than maintaining a separate digital menu that could fall out of sync with the venue, we display the actual Cocolicious menu as an optimised image. Parents see exactly what’s available before arriving — reducing decision fatigue on-site and setting expectations for picky eaters. Simple, accurate, zero maintenance.
Photo Galleries & Social Proof
Gallery pages showcase real event photography — past parties, venue atmosphere, kids having fun. These images do more selling than any copy could. They’re served in WebP with responsive sizing so pages load fast even on Jamaican mobile networks. The footer drives traffic to Coco Jam’s active Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook channels, keeping the brand visible where Kingston parents already spend their time.
Dual Navigation for Different Visitors
We implemented two navigation systems — a top menu for the primary journey (Home, Menu, Events, Shop) and a persistent sidebar exposing the full site map (About, Rates, Parties, Activities, Galleries, Contacts). First-time visitors follow the top menu. Returning visitors or those with specific intent jump straight to the page they need via the sidebar. Two paths, one site, every visitor served.
The Business Impact
- New revenue channel: Online ticket sales capture purchases 24/7 — including after hours, weekends, and from social media traffic that previously had nowhere to convert.
- Reduced enquiry load: Pricing, packages, attraction details, and booking processes are all available on-site. Staff spend less time answering routine questions and more time running the venue.
- School trip conversions: Administrators compare packages online and arrive at the booking call already informed and ready to commit.
- Full client independence: The Coco Jam team updates events, swaps seasonal promotions, adjusts pricing, uploads photos, and creates new ticket products — all without developer involvement.
- Mobile-first reach: The site is built for how Kingston parents actually browse — on their phones, between pickups and drop-offs, scrolling Instagram then tapping through to the website.
Why This Matters
Coco Jam didn’t need a custom application or an expensive platform. They needed a website that works as hard as their business does — answering questions, selling tickets, showcasing the experience, and getting out of the way so the team can focus on what they do best. We delivered a platform the client fully owns, fully controls, and that pays for itself every time a parent books a party or buys a photoshoot ticket online instead of calling in.
That’s what we build — websites that aren’t just online. They’re working.
